Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), principal recipient of the TB component of The Global Fund to Fights Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria (TGFATM), invites all Filipinos of any age and residing anywhere in the Philippines to join the TB-Free Philippines Photography Contest 2013.
The contest runs until 20 August 2013. The first placer will win P20,000, while the second and third place winners will receive P15,000 and P10,000, respectively. Nine consolation prizes of P2,000.00 each will be given to deserving entries.
Photo entries should show any of the following themes/messages:
a. TB can be cured.
b. TB care is free and readily available.
c. Former TB patients have productive, healthier lives after being cured.
d. Anyone can have TB, not just the poor.
e. Stronger partnerships from different sectors can help in eradicating TB.
f. Correct understanding of TB is the first step to getting better.
Entrants may submit a maximum of three photographs, but may win only one award. In case an entrant wins more than one prize, the entrant will be awarded the higher prize.
Employees of PBSP, Global Fund TB Grant, and PBSP-GF Sub Recipients and their relatives up to 2nd degree of affinity and consanguinity are ineligible to join this contest.
